It has been a pretty heavy news day. And while I think it’s so important to read all that you can to become informed about what today’s court ruling means, I know that you must also need a little break from these headlines. To provide a brief distraction, here are my favorites for this week.

4th of July style: Can you believe the 4th of July is a week from Monday? If you’re looking for something festive to wear for the holiday, how about this, this, this, this, this or this?
Anti-wrinkle eye cream: I am always on the hunt for affordable anti-wrinkle creams and have been trying this one from StriVectin for the last month and really like it. I put it on at night and under my eye makeup during the day and I think I can see an actual difference. My wrinkles seems less pronounced and the area around my eyes seems to be brighter overall, too.
Summer tank tops: My daughter Annie came down this morning in the cutest pastel pink tank top from lululemon. I haven’t seen this color from them in a while and I just love it. I can’t wear the same top as Annie, but I really like this one for me.
Easy summer appetizer: I saw this recipe for a fresh summer appetizer this week and filed it away for the 4th of July. This looks delicious!
