Local Shops Offering Curbside Service, Delivery, and Virtual Shopping

Following is a list of North Shore retailers who are offering curbside pickup, delivery services, and one-on-one virtual appointments during our coronavirus lockdown. I know I’m just barely scratching the surface here, so please let me know if you are a retailer or know of one who has gotten creative at this difficult time. I promise to make updates as I have them.

Lake Forest

• Bedside Manor: Bedside Manor is happy to assist you with phone orders, online orders, curbside pickup/dropoff, and private appointments.

• Bluemercury: While the store is closed, they are offering free 2-day shipping.

• Deseda: You can continue to buy Deseda’s beautiful scarves online.

• Enaz: Lake Forest newcomer Enaz Boutique is offering 20% off everything. You can FaceTime them or schedule an in-store one-on-one appointment by direct messaging them on Instagram or Facebook. They will also provide curbside pickup or local delivery. If you shop online, use the code STAYATHOME at checkout.

• Flowers by Katie Ford: Katie and her team are available for your floral needs. You can reach them by phone or through their website. Katie is also “flowering it forward” for people in need who may need a pick-me-up. If you know of someone who could use a little sunshine, let her know and she will take care of it free of charge. • Forest Bootery: Shop at Forest Bootery online.

• Gifted: While Gifted has closed its doors, they are open for business! Email them at stitch@giftedlakeforest.com or call the store. They will offer curbside pickup, local delivery, or ship where they can.

• The Initial Choice: The Initial Choice is offering curbside pickup, shipping, and any other accommodations that might be helpful.

• Kiddles Sports: Kiddles Sports is offering curbside pickup or local delivery for all of their products. Call Kiddles at 847.234.0025 or email them at sales@kiddlessports.com for hours and availability.

• Lake Forest Book Store: Online ordering is available through the website with free local delivery and reduced-rate shipping. You can also support Lake Forest Book Store by ordering audiobooks through Libro. The book store will receive a percentage from each sale.

• Lake Forest Flowers: Lake Forest Flowers is still open for curbside pickup and delivery.

• The Lake Forest Shop: Available by appointment only if you need some “retail therapy.”

• Lillie Alexander Ltd.: If you see something you like on Lillie Alexander’s Instagram account, feel free to call the store at 847.295.8686 and they’ll have it delivered to you.

• M on the Square: Offering curbside and local delivery services. Follow M on the Square on Instagram for items Missy Crowe (the owner) is featuring daily, as well as their website.

• Mark David Designs: Available to help you with your design needs remotely with curbside pick ups, home dropoffs, and via phone or email daily.

• Marcus: Shop Marcus on Instagram and call your local store to arrange curbside pickup.

• Sage Explorers: You can place your order by phone, email, or website, and arrange for curbside pickup or local delivery. They are also a great resource for e-learning tutoring.

• Smith’s Men’s Store: Smith’s will close until the coast is clear. They are offering virtual shopping via FaceTime (by appointment) and complimentary local (LF/LB) delivery. Call for an appointment.

• Valentina: Valentina encourages its shoppers to follow them on Instagram for their new arrivals. Direct message them if you see something you like.

Lake Bluff

• Pasquesi Home & Gardens: Closing until further notice, but accepting phone orders Monday through Saturday starting at 9 a.m. Orders will be processed and made available for curbside pickup, especially for your pet needs.

• Twigs Lake Bluff: Available for curbside pickup or delivery.

Deerfield

• Just Between Friends: Delivering all of your gift needs; Just Between Friends on Instagram and direct message them for purchases or text 917.562.9780.

Highland Park

• Beanstalk Toys : Available online and for curbside pickup and delivery.

• Stationery Station: Available for appointments and curbside pickup or delivery for custom orders stationery/gifts.

Northbrook

• Kidoodles Inc. & More: Available online or for FaceTime appointments. They are hosting a virtual Graduation Gift Open House on Thursday, April 2.

Glencoe

• LuxLab: Available for FaceTime appointments, free delivery on the North Shore or free shipping. Some amazing promotions and sales are going on. Check their Instagram page to stay current with what’s going on.

Wilmette

• Chantilly Lace: Available for FaceTime appointments, curbside service, and local delivery on the North Shore.

• Share/Shack Wilmette: Available for curbside pickup and local delivery. Follow along on their Instagram for the special deliveries they’re making to frontline heroes!

Winnetka

• Frances Heffernan: Available for purchases online.

• Oui Madame: Phone orders at 847.441.0182. Also receiving orders by text, Facebook, and Instagram. 

Evanston

• Looking Glass Pet Shop: Online store offering local delivery and curbside pickup.

Also, please keep in mind that larger retailers like TSE, Evereve, Williams Sonoma, Talbot’s, J.McLaughlin, and lululemon will continue to offer online shopping for as long as they are able.
