My Daily Uniform & the Cutest Tote

I’m looking for all the things to keep life light and bright over here. And nothing makes me feel better than a polished everyday outfit. These days, it’s all about a cute cardigan, comfy jeans, throwback loafers, and my new favorite tote from Laura Lance Designs.

I’m convinced I should be living in the 50s where skinny jeans, letterman sweaters, and penny loafers were all the rage. Those are the vibes I get from this very J. Crew look–one that makes me feel happy and pulled together. I’ve linked all of the pieces here, here, here, and here. (For reference, I ordered a size small in the sweater, a medium in the tee shirt, and a 28 in the jeans.)

But it almost doesn’t matter what I’m wearing if I have a cute tote thrown over my shoulder. I love this new one from Lake Forest fashionista Laura Carreira who is offering this hand-painted leather tote as part of her fall and holiday collection. It comes in 4 colors: camel, black, orange, and gray. And, Laura is more than happy to help you come up with the custom colors for your monogram that she personally paints on your bag. This monogrammed tote with normally retails for $160, but if you mention “Ann Marie On the Shore” when you order from her, she’ll reduce the price to $130. This is a GREAT gift idea for the accessory lover in your life. You can message her on Instagram to place an order or visit her website by clicking here.

Here’s to keeping things hopeful and positive today, tomorrow, and the many days to come.
